VCSA - DC Scholarship
DESCRIPTION OF THE SCHOLARSHIP: ESSAY
The VCSA-DC Scholarship is pleased to announce 2 Scholarships to encourage students and young adults from Washington DC metropolitan to attend this year’s Len Duong Camp. Our goal is to award these scholarships to students who will continue to develop their leadership abilities while having a positive impact on the local community.

Application Requirements
The VCSA-DC Scholarship will recognize and reward the outstanding individual who:

is committed to giving back to the local community

has demonstrated leadership qualities
In order to be eligible for the VCSA-DC Scholarship, an applicant must:

be 18 years of age or older by May 2023
-
register and attend Len Duong Camp 2023 to accept the award
-
be a Vietnamese-American university/college student living in Washington DC area
-
Complete and submit the Scholarship Application Form

Submit 2 portrait pictures to be used in LD camp booklet should you be selected for a scholarship (jpeg or png)

Submit a CV

Read and follow the guidelines for writing and submitting your essay

Award
Upon completing all the application requirements, submit all documents as individual attachments in one (1) email to lenduongcamp@vcsa.org with subject heading: “Your Name – LDC2023 VCSA-DC Scholarship.”

Applicants for scholarships are evaluated for leadership potential. Other important factors include career goals and social awareness

Scholarship applications will be judged by LD Alumni with extensive experience in LD programs
-
$500 USD. This is a scholarship presented at Len Duong Camp and will be paid directly to an individual winner.
